Anna McGarrigle sits somewhere at the intersections of remote sensing and photography, geospatial data and visual design, storytelling and Earth science, creativity and precision, illustrating and automating.

She graduated from the George Washington University with a B.A. in American Studies and GIS. Her passion for the outdoors and curiosity about people form diverse subject matter.

She now works as a ski coach at Squaw Valley, baker at Wildflour Baking Co., book designer and concert photographer for Respect Your Youngers. She was an analyst with NASA DEVELOP, an intern at Airphrame, a student of cartography, and Senior Designer for the GW Hatchet. She likes breakfast food, cartography and bicycles.
